Back in the 1980s, I was part of the nuclear disarmament movement. During the wacky years of the Reagan presidency, I was certain that there would be a nuclear war. Hence, my involvement with the anti-nuke brigade. During the 80s, there were a number of TV movies and specials made about the effects of a nuclear war on ordinary people.
